Fees and Policies

Aiming to provide transparency

Dance classes are an amazing way to keep your child active, engaged, and healthy. Please find our financial policies and fees of what a typical season may cost.

Financial Policies

  • Tuition is based on the number of classes taken and divided into 9 equal monthly payments (September–May). It is not prorated for absences or closures.

  • Payments are due by the 10th of each month. A $15 late fee is applied on the 11th unless you have an approved payment plan.

  • All other unpaid fees (store, costumes, programs, etc.) will incur a $15 late fee every 30 days past due.

  • To drop a class, written notice is required by the 20th of the prior month (via online form, email, or dropbox at the studio). You are responsible for tuition until this notice is received.

  • All payments are non-refundable. Contact the Operations Committee if there are extenuating circumstances.

  • Accounts must be in good standing to participate in extras (store purchases, extracurricular dances, competitions, warmups, etc.), even if you have a payment plan.

  • Extracurricular dances (such as solos, duets, and trios) are arranged directly with choreographers and follow separate policies. All accounts must remain in good standing to be eligible. See the handbook for full details.

Tuition

Tuition is split into 9 monthly payments, each due by the 10th of the month from September through May. Our tuition is capped at $165 per month. In addition to tuition, there is a costume deposit of $25 per enrolled class due by November 15th. These deposits do not apply to the December Gala costumes, only the June recital.

Performance Costumes

Costumes for the December and June performances are one of the most anticipated things amongst dancers. We pour many hours into curating the perfect costume collection for our students while keeping budgets in mind. As such, we cap all costumes at $100 each excluding shoes, alterations, and accessories and we do not upcharge our costumes - we make no money off of costume purchases. To keep costs even lower, we do at least one studio-wide fundraiser that goes toward a costume credit that will be applied to each June recital costume! The credit varies from year to year based on fundraising participation, but we are typically able to offer anywhere from 50 percent to 100 percent off the final costume bill after deposits have been applied. â€‹
