2023/2024 Class Schedule

BALLET

 An artistic dance form performed to music using precise and highly formalized set steps and gestures.   Ballet is characterized by light, graceful, fluid movements.

JAZZ

A dance style include using feet, arm, and hand positions, isolations (head, shoulder, hips), timing, shape, and movements including body rolls, jazz walks, swings, and kicks.

CONTEMPORARY

Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet.

POINTE

Going "en Pointe" is one of the ultimate signs saying "you've made it" as a ballerina. Pointe classes are currently offered to advanced students only and is purely by invitation.

TAP

 A style of dance performed wearing shoes fitted with metal taps, characterized by rhythmical tapping of the toes and heels.

HIP HOP

Hip-hop dance refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture.

TUMBLING

Tumbling is a form of gymnastics performed without props or equipment. Also referred to as floor gymnastics, common moves performed in tumbling include flips, somersaults, tucks, handstands and handsprings.
