Dress Code

Students are required to have the appropriate dance-wear, tumbling gear, and shoes FOR ALL CLASSES. To take the guesswork out of choosing appropriate class-wear, Please click here for more information about where to purchase your dancewear!

Ballet -  Girls​

• Theatrical or ballet pink tights

• Pink leather split sole ballet shoes - no ties 

  • Capezio Love or similar for Lilac and below​

  • Bloch "Odette" or similar for adult sizes

• Black Leotard, any style, no attached skirt

• Hair secured in a neat bun

Ballet - Boys

• Black fitted jazz pants or capris

• Fitted shirt - white

• Black leather split sole ballet shoes - no ties

​

Tap - Jazz - Hip Hop

• Leotard or tank top over leotard

• Jazz pants, capris, or other garments that fall below the knee

• Appropriate shoes determined by class level -

  • Bloch Tap On Slide buckle tap shoes in black for Sunflower and below

  • Bloch "Respect" for Lilac and above - Black in color

• Hair pulled back away from the face in a secure pony tail, braid, or bun.

Tap - Boys

• Black fitted jazz pants or capris

• Fitted white or plain colored shirt - no prints

• Black Capezio Tic Tap Toe or Bloch Children's lace up tap shoes

Tumbling and Acro -

• Leotards are preferred, any style

• Absolutely no loose clothing or jewelry

• Hair pulled back away from the face in a secure pony tail, braid, or bun

• Boys may wear athletic-type clothing, as fitted as possible
